Do not buy a mattress at Jordans Furniture

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Do not buy a mattress at Jordan's Furniture, our mattress is defective. I purchased a mattress at Jordan's less than a year ago. The mattress cost me $2000,00 (two thousand) plus dollars. I noticed that there is an air pocket / lump where I slept the night before. I rotated the mattress every 2 weeks for the first 3 months, once every 3 months thereafter. I notified Jordan's furniture regarding the problem with the mattress, they claim that the mattress is not defective its the support system the mattress is sitting on. The mattress sits on new box springs and a metal frame. I didn't buy the frame and box spring from them, they claim that the box spring and frame are the problem with my mattress. Jordan's Furniture should stand behind their products. But they don't

Jordans Furniture - Cover Replacement Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I have been trying to replace a single cover for an outdoor furniture. Outrageously, naticks representatives have wasted about half a year of my time on this because they have been taking six months so far to replace a single cover. This involves hours and hours of multiple calls. You know what these phone calls are like when you have to talk to these people who don't care about doing their job. I talked to this representative at naticks location Nicole. She said she was the manager but heck her tone was messed up. She was a complete waste of customer's time as she was dismissive, unhelpful, and rude. First thing she was saying this six months matter was finalized by crediting the cover price(that is not even a refund, they have your money) and they also have the merchandise. So what she said in other words is it is finalized when they have took both the money and the merchandise. Does that sound like stealth stealing? They somehow took the merchandise and didn't let me know they credited it like months ago? Second this Nicole kept on saying "I'm trying to help you so (do this and don't do this)" as tho she is doing a customer a favor on this half a year problem they have made up and placed on the customer. And what they heck does she think she is to tell the customer she will 'help' so do this or that. That tone Nicole..? *** enough? I had to tell her stop and think and realize the tone that an inadequate rep like her is talking when she just keeps repeating same excuses I've already heard. Just replace the wrong sized cover with a right sized cover! That is all I've been asking for 6 months. Why the f would anyone in their right mind be like I don't understand what you need and repeat that for the f 10th time. It's been half a year get a grip and understand what the customer has been telling you for f half a year. RIGHT SIZED COVER! and perhaps additionally fixing a rep like Nicole who is just an inadequate person to have talking to customers. Reps like Nicole waste customers voice, time, and energy and that kind of rep will never be needed in companies and will never be wanted by customers. The dismissive tone, the degree of disrespect and ignorance, incompetence in making any progress towards replacement, inadequate responses, talking over the customer, hanging up the phone twice, lying she didn't hang up the phone and then hanging up again( while saying 'I'm hanging up bye' lol) is the only description that fits this Nicole rep I talked to. This rude Nicole should get it together or she is not going to get anywhere and should not be working in that sort of mind set bothering customers. If she is not motivated to work and would be infringing on customers, Nicole should not be allowed to talk to customers. What's the point if all a company's rep does is infringe customers.

Jordans Furniture - Sofa Review

Jordan's furniture does not stand by the product they sell. I bought a leather power couch.

Less than five years the leather fell apart. The couch had very little usage over that time. Followed all the requirements to maintain the leather. Called Jordan's and they said you have to call the manufacturer.

Called manufacture and they said they do not support that model anymore. I now have a 4K dollar couch that is worthless. I would never buy anything from them again.

Worst company I have ever dealt with that does not stand by their product. Nothing but a sell and forgot about your customer.

Jordans furniture CS department looks to discredit your complaint from the first phone call

Don't buy mattresses at any Jordans Furniture. Our mattress is defective.

It looks like a trapezoid... how does one even begin to sleep on this thing to make it crumble like that? NO NO NO... it's not defective, it's the way you 'took care of it'.

STAY AWAY FROM JORDANS FURNITURE, do not waste your money there. They look to discredit your complaint at the first phone call. STAY AWAY FROM JORDANS FURNITURE, do not waste your money there.

Tempurpedic falling apart

I bought a tempurpedic king size mattress and the 2 box springs that go under it. I purchased it 5/28/16.

One side is completely broken down and when you lie in it, you lie in a valley. There is a huge mountain to climb if you wish to get over to the other side of the bed. The second side is now breaking down. We both have back problems now and this is the most expensive (by far) and worst mattress I have ever seen.

Jordans says it is Tempurpedic's responsibility and Tempurpedic says it is Jordan's responsibility. I don't care whose responsibility is, I just want to return the insanely expensive broken mattress.

I understand from a phone rep that this is a common problem. If someone contacts me I can send pictures to an email.

After some phone calls back and forth Jordans has stepped up instead of their scam over insurance company. I had to pay for the leather surfaces through while Jordans picked the two items up, changed the material and brought them back within a few days.

I would say Kudos...

Original review Sep 08, 2015
I bought a living room bonded leather set for $3500 and they sold me a 5-year protection program which the salesman from the Jordan's store said it will cover absolutely anything. 2 years and 3 months in I started noticing cracks on the back cushions.

I called the warranty company and after waiting 25 minutes on the line because I had more than 15 people in front of me, I was told that the warranty does not cover this type of issue and that I will be receiving and email with all the covered and not covered items.

I will try my best to get my warranty money back as it is something that was sold to me on a totally different context. There was no separate warranty sheet included with my purchase papers.

Extremely disappointed and I would not recommend buying from these liars.

Same thing bought a sofa bonded leather and the sofa started to Crack after 3 years. I had purchased the warranty for this reason when I called in the claim they told me it was not covered.

I purchased a $2500.00 leather sectional 3 years ago. One cushion is peeling in several spots.

No pets/no smoke. One cushion of the whole couch. I was told it is not a defect. Offered me 10% off my next purchase.

I paid for the 5 year warranty.

It is really nice knowing that Jordan's backs their products for the consumer. Obviously, Jordan's will not get another sale from me.

Stay away from Jordan's Furniture

I will never ever shop at Jordan's again. I recently bought my Sealy mattress and box spring.

The mattress ended up being too hard. After only one week, my back was in pain and told them I wanted to re-select. They charged me $160 to re-select. After only 1 month I have noticed that my bed is making squeaking noises (like an old bed).

We inspected the box spring and we noticed that it's not a Sealy one, it's not even a real box spring, it's a piece of *** made of plywood and cardboard. I paid $170 for that. They sold me a Jordan's box spring instead of a Sealy one. That's very dishonest I think.

I am contacting them right now to get a refund and get a real shock absorber box spring. Please, stay away from Jordan's, there are many small family owned businesses everywhere. Get a real mattress and a real good box spring like a Gold Bond (two sided), made in Connecticut. Also if you don't want to feel hot at night or smell toxic fumes, stay away from memory foam.

I learned it the hard way. I hope this helps you take a better decision.

Failure to stand behind product

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I bought a complete room of furniture 2 years ago and the cushions on the Love Seat have become so compressed, that it is no longer comfortable to sit on. When I purchased the furniture, I bought the 5 year extended warranty on the furniture. I was told by the customer service rep that the insurance only covers accidental damage. I guess poor quality and workmanship is not covered. Jordan’s customer service refused to do anything shifting blame to the manufacturer. I think it is equally Jordan’s Furniture’s responsibility. They claim to sell quality furniture. Obviously they don’t. To say I'm disappointed with Jordan's is an understatement, and I will never purchase another piece of furniture from them. Buyer beware!

Jordan's Furniture sells sofas that fall apart & bully their customers!

I need to start by stating that we ALWAYS buy the extended service guaranteee with expensive furniture. We bought a high end leather sofa from Jordan's Furniture in Avon MA 2 years ago. Within 8 months the front of this sofa literally began to fall off the frame & hang in the front. The excuse we were repeatedly told was that the sofa was failing due to it having been constructed in Italy it was not condusive to our climate.

After 4 months of having to regularly leave work early to accomodate to their repair schedule Jordan's finally agreed with us that the sofa needed to be replaced. After arguing for weeks with a very rude customer service representative who demanded that our only option was to get the identical sofa- despite us being told it was "not condusive to our climate." In a nutshell I was eventually "allowed" to select another sofa because a refund was "out of the question. That is not an option." and I was given 14 days to reselect a sofa.

A new leather sofa was selected. Within 10 months this sofa began to tear at all seams. We had a repair man out to our home several times a month repairing seams until 1 repairman said he was finally requesting a replacement sofa. After being told once again that a refund was not an option- I demanded a refund and fought tooth & nail for months with customer service. I spoke to every customer service representative there is & then eventually was told by a customer representative (on the telephone) that there was nobody there higher than she & that she is corporate. I emailed to customer service on their website only to get another rude person who is the suprervisor of the previous person who told me there was nobody higher than herself in management. This "real" supervisor didn't want to see things from my point of view. Why would I want a 3rd leather sofa from them & risk that one failing as well? The very first sofa I bought the salesman told me was the highest quality brand they sell.

I finally had- had it & wrote to the better Business Bureau. Jordan's replied to my BBB claim stating they would allow me to select another couch plus a $100 credit to put towards this new selection. I declined- they kept restating themselves- I kept declining. Jordan's is not accreditted with the Better Business Bureau so the BBB couldn't do anything more for me other than make the attempt which had failed.

So I called the BBB to ask what else I could do on my own. The customer service rep was really nice & had a good sense of humor & told me I could file a 93-A. I had no idea what it was but she said it was easy to do, wouldn't cost me anything except postage & just the mention of the form usually results in the customer getting action due to the business not wanting to have to deal with paperwork & potentially having to pay out 4X's the original customer cost. YOU NEED TO READ ABOUT THE 93-A TO BELIEVE IT!! I immediately called Jordan's & told the service rep. that I needed 30 more days to let them know what new piece of *** sofa I was settling for because I was submitting the 93-A that day & I wanted to see how that was going to go for me. WOW! What a reaction I got-within 2 minutes of mentioning the 93-A I had the Queen of the rude customer service reps on the line & I was getting my full refund sent to me!! Boy was she mad! It was awesome. When I hung the phone up with her I stood up from my desk, put my hands up in the air & yelled "I WON!!!!!!" & sadly enough everyone at the office knew I didn't hit the jackpot but defeated Jordan's "we sell pieces of ***" Furniture!

So now as I type this review in my livingroom, sitting in one of our only 2 chairs because we had Jordan's pick up the last *** sofa it makes me happy to know I got 2 sofas for a combined 2 1/2 years from Jordan's Furniture for free. SCORE: Jordan's- ZERO, Sue- ONE

What is a 93A? I might just call my lawyer, we are having the SAME issues you had.

Dawn and Melissa are who I have dealt with and the 40 other people because the breakdown in communication there is horrific.

They should be ashamed. Please let me know, I need to take more action NOW!
